Hi everyone, I think I'm being PFB, but I realise I'm not sure what to do. DD is 10.5 months. Last night she projectile vommited three times. She's still BF and is happy to feed. I think she's keeping a bit down, but seems a little dehydrated. Only a couple of little vomits this morning. Doesn't seem hot. Not her usual bouncy self, but quite cheerful. No rash.

Should I just keep an eye on get of should I get her seen? We're on hols in Greece, otherwise I'd call the GP, but here it would mean a trip to the hospital.

Sounds liek a normal tummy bug to me, if she was mine I'd be offering the breast more often, stay away from solids for now, and just keep an eye on her. If she'll drink water, offer that too if you think she's getting dehydrated

have you got a thermometer to check her temp? is there an on site doctor who could take a look?

think id keep an eye this morning and see how she is. if she's sick again is assume she was coming down with a bug and probably get her seen by a doctor as presumably it is hot and she might need some rehydration stuff? have you got any with you? is she old enough? I seem to remember being on holiday one time and making some.

if she's stopped being sick and hasn't got a temp don't think I'd worry too much.

keep a very close eye on her, keep giving her boiled water to drink and get as much fluid in her as possible. keep her out of the sun and make sure she is cool. Is there a chemist nearby? if so, then see if you can pick up a cheap thermometer to monitor her temp. If no better then Dr's tomorrow or straight away if she gets worse.

Babies can change very quickly so also trust your instincts.

Keep feeding her and make sure you keep her cool and out of the sun (which could be the culprit or simply change of diet/water) . Do you have any Dioralyte she could sip or maybe a pharmacist could recommend an alternative ?

If you're ok to ebf then do that. far better for her than water atm. If there's no temp them I wouldn't worry too much I think x

Thanks everyone. She's currently sleeping (we're both shattered!). One good thing about being away from home is air conditioning! Will keep feeding and monitoring.
