Hi. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this before and if so can you offer some advice or reassurance.
My dd has recently started nursery and had a change to her routine but apart from less sleep and being tired she had coped very well and seems to be settled at nursery. However for the last week she has had very loose watery stools. ... Some very watery and others a little thicker with mucous. .... Sometimes it has her food in it. ... its a greeny yellow colour and smells foul. She tends to wake up in the morning having had one of these poos. ... then they'll be another after her breakfast nap and another after her lunch map. .....she seems otherwise well. ... she's eating well and drinking plenty of water. .... has no temp or signs of illness. .... previously her poos were quite firm like dough and dark in colour. I changed her milk from cow and Gate to aptami l about 3 weeks ago so not sure if this matters? ?? Yesterday I put her back on cow and Gate as a precaution to see if there will be any change. .. Today I've also avoided fruit and her usual breakfast of weetabix or porridge sure to the fibre content. .... instead I've given her bland foods and banana to try and bind her poo. She only has 2 8oz bottles a day and I've given her these as normal.I went to the chemist today to try and get some dioralyte but he said I'd need a prescription as it's not licensed over counter for under 2s. She is teething at the moment but this seems a little severe and long winded to be caused by that. ......... anyone else experienced this and did you just ride it out? ???? Can you have a big but be otherwise well? ??
