14month old waking with chronic stomach ache

Hi I really need some advice, for the past 2 weeks my 14 month old has been waking about 2 hours after being put down with chronic tummy pains. She is pulling her legs and pointing to the bathroom to use the toilet, she has been using the toilet and potty for a few months successfully. When we put her on a night she screams in pain and sometimes poops and other times just screams to be take off. She is in so much pain, we first put it down to teeth and used calpol and then thought it could be colic so tried some stuff for that but nothing seems to be working.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? She is usually a fanatic sleeper.
Thanks

My dd did this and it turned out to be that glands in her stomach were up as she had a throat infection. Apparently, children often say they have tummy pain when the pain is elsewhere cos of these glands.

If it is not that then trapped wind can be hugely painful. Would it receive the pain if she curled up with her bum in the air to release this trapped wind? This sounds overly simplistic, but it has worked for my dds too.

Is she eating any new foods or eating late at night? You might find a change in diet might unsettle her tummy.

If it continues then it might be worth a doc appt.

Hope you get sorted OP.

Could be constipated or trying to pass hard/painful stools - try extra fibre and see if that does the trick...

has she recently been vaccinated? the mmr is known to cause stomach issues. Try pro-biotics, enzymes gluten free.
