3 year old feeling ill after MMR booster

My DD had her MMR booster and the other booster forget the name yesterday.
She then developed a temperature in the night and couldn't sleep much. She still has a temp but not too bad around 37/38 and feels generally ill. No appetite, sore tummy, sore throat etc.
Is this normal? She does mostly have a temp after her jabs but she hasn't had one in a while and I thought maybe she'd be ok being a bit older.
NHS site seems to say there may be side effects later on but not immediately?
Anyone else had same experience?
Glad that was the last lot of jabs at least.

I'd hazard a guess and say its a virus rather than the injection

If she has previously felt unwell and had a high temperature after the jabs then of course it's probably the vaccinations. If its what happened before then that is just logical isn't it?
But mostly children just feel a bit crap for a while. I expect she'll start to feel herself again soon.
If you are concerned contact your GP

I thought if you reacted the first time it was because you were developing the antibodies and therefore less likely to react at the booster but I could very well be wrong

She's feeling a lot better today no temp. It's not a virus too short a time. I think it's a reaction to the booster. It's just odd it comes on within 12 hours and has happened both times. I was just wondering how common that was.

I think some children just do process vaccinations differently.
My family has a huge history of children who just have an odd assortment of reactions. One niece tends to have seizures. My DC get swelling at the vaccination site. Because of that, purely anecdotally of course, a lot of people say 'gosh yes, my dc always get lethargic/high temp/whatever' after vaccines.

I don't think it's incredibly uncommon.

After my Sons MMR booster a week later he became quite poorly high temp achy lethargic etc the doctor told me this was a reaction to the jab.he was fine after a couple of days but he reacted to a particular part of the jab.

My 6 year old was late having his jabs but had them earlier this year. Within 12 hours he was unwell with a high temperature, shivers and vomiting which lasted for a day or two. I'm sure it was down to the injections
