my dd is vomiting 2/3 times a week when she goes up to bed, i think this is due to her being anxious but will take her to the doctors to rule out any physical causes. would anyone have any experience of this or any advice, very concerned, thanks x

How old is she? Has she said that she is worried about anything or have there been any big changes recently that make you think it's nerves?
I went through a period of being sick every morning when I started primary and then secondary school, unfortunately my mum was of the opinion that it was attention seeking and ignoring it was the best thing to do Hmm, luckily my form tutor got our school matron to have a chat to me and helped me with some relaxation techniques and lots of talking about how I was feeling, a month or so later it was a distant memory.
Hope your GP can help and your DD feels herself again soon.

She may find it easier to talk to someone she doesn't know as well, like a doctor, sometimes it is just doubly hard to tell your mum stuff, especially if she is worried that she'll make you worried! But talking is the best thing to do, and lots of hugs, sounds like you've got that covered Smile

I am sure you'll get it sorted, the first big step is noticing and helping her talk about it. She sounds very sweet and you sound great for being such a lovely mum.
