Ds is 8 months.

Last Sun (7 days ago) he started vomiting at 4am and kept nothing down all day. He didn't wee for about 15 hours so on Mon am took him to gp. She wasn't worried though gave us dioralyte and he kept some of that down that day and started weeing again and by tues was keeping some milk down and throwing some up.

Then on wed he started to get foul smelling poo which gradually became diarrhoea and since thurs he's done four or five watery diarrhoea type poos a day. His appetite for food not returned at all though now he is back up to, and keeping down, about 75% of his normal milk consumption though he normally also has three meals a day and hasn't for a week though he showed interest in a rusk halfway through the week but not again. He is teething as well though.

No temp. No rash. So main problem is diarrhoea, reduced milk intake and no solids for a week. Should I be worried?

Sometime littlemones can become temporarily lactose intolerant following a tummy bug which prolongs the upset. Is it possible to swap him to a non dairy formula for a week or so? Soya or something? Having said that I would be tempted to take him to the GPmas it has been going on for a while.

And then today for the first time in a week he ate lunch hooray. And has, so far, kept it in.
