I was told by my daughters dentist that my four year old had no decay that her teeth had obvious signs of good brushing, but some of her teeth had eroded and he had never seen it before, that because there were no signs of neglect to her teeth that it must be down to her diet,,
After a long talk her healthy diet is what has rotted parts of her teeth, the acid in fruit etc, the worst being her dilute juice,,, which is what brings me to my question! Which dilute juice is low in concentrate and low in acids?
As virtually every one I have read is awful in both.... My dd is fed up with water, hates the taste of milk,,,

Water is the best drink for their teeth, but if she really won't drink it would you consider a splash of sugar-free squash? I know a lot of parents don't want to give their children sugar-free drinks due to the additives, but you can make it up extremely weak - literally a quick splash in a large glassful is enough to just add a bit of flavour.

My DD refused water so I have always given very weak squash. She is 17 now and has no decay.

Any thing other than water can be consumed at meal times & drunk all in one sitting.

It is the constant sipping that is bad for teeth, as each sip creates an acid attack, which is what damages the teeth!
