Recommendations for child's electric toothbrush

My 8yo's brushing with a standard toothbrush isn't really doing the job. Me and DH both have elecric toothbrushes, which have transformed our dental health. Can anyone recommend an electric one for my DS? I'm not fussed about whether there's a character etc. on them. More interested in how good they are.

just use the ones you have( if you can stand the gunk on them) and use a kids head for under 6's . I'd recommend an oral b one nothing fancy. Both mine just have an adult head and use any bottom bit (from oral b) that is floating round the house! I recommend to patients just the oral b's that cost less than £20 depends on the offers hth

We got the sonicare kids brush. It is excellent, and builds up the brusging time very gradually from one minute to two. It plays funny little tunes to indicate when to move to a different part of the mouth, which the dcs love. After 3 weeks, both dcs' teeth are noticeably cleaner. I still do ds2's teeth and ds1 does his own. They are almost 8 and 5.

It is expensive though!

Oral B Vitality is what we all have. We have one each. I couldn't be arsed with changing the head each time I want to brush my teeth tbh Grin and you just know that each time I would need to use it, it would be flat.

They have 2 min timers on them as well.

My dc have been using them for years now. Neither of them have a filling and the dentist always commends them on how lovely their teeth are (which is a miracle really as 14 yo teen boy isn't up there with body cleanliness atm Blush ).

You can go through any review which is written on top electric tooth brushes, this way you would be able to know their main features, pricing and other related information as well. I like Sonicare Advance 4100
