Feeling stupid about not seeing a doc re 8mo loose stools. Can't see me sleeping with worry tonight

Dd has been having loose stools that started a couple of weeks ago. Never thought much of it as it coincided with teething and a cough cold which I had been giving her calpol or ibuprofen for.

Thinking about it tonight I know she's had 6+ watery nappies a day the last two days, maybe more. Also thrown up once a day (but I honestly think it's the mucous from her cough catching her). Her appetite is fine, no signs of dehydration with regards to eyes or mouth, form good enough bar being a bit grumpy at times during the day as she's a nap resister.

I feel terrible after checking on the likes of the nhs sites and them saying I should have contacted a gp urgently as they are too many diaorrhea (sp?) nappies per day. I'm meant to know all this with it being my second dc fgs. I'm all worried now incase I haven't acted soon enough if there's something wrong - while dd is happily snoozing in the next room

Loose tools are very common as they get used to solids, I took my DD1 to the doctor all worried, gave a sample too and it was all fine. If you are still worried (given sickness too) get to a walk in clinic/ GP tomorrow and take a sample in with you?

I think that's why I didn't think twice about it, that her being sickwith the cold and taking medicine too. I suppose just that it's gone on too long and have been very watery at times. A mother's guilt I was concentrating more on my other dc incase his cough affected his asthma. I'll ring the gp this morn, if only to put my mind at rest. Thanks.
