So all of dd's poxes have scanned up. So looks disgusting but no longer contagious and the itch has calmed right down. Is it just business as usual and let the scans fall of naturally? How long until the redness goes?

She is meant to go to nursery tomorrow but I think I will keep her home another day as she looks awful and I don't want her or the other kids noticing or touching her spots as really want to minimise chances of facial scarring.

Yeah, they just sort of melt away.
Can easily be up to 6 weeks before the marks of them fully fade. You will have to explain to folk constantly that she's no longer contagious, the pox actually came out 2-3 weeks ago.
I think they usually itch more after they scab up, so you sound lucky there.

Bio oil can help prevent scarring.

What do I do with the bio-oil - just rub it on all over?

You can rub it all over or just on the scabbiest bits.
