Joseph's ongoing journey with Neuroblastoma

I've lost count of the thread number now, but my 3 year old DS, Joseph, was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called neuroblastoma last year.

Part-way through treatment he has relapsed (currently still clarifying that, but it's almost guaranteed) and at that point long-term survival is less than 5%.

He is beautiful and wonderful.

Think you said you were going in tomorrow or Friday for scan results. I so hope you get a good result, I will be thinking of you all.

Trazzletoes · 15/05/2013 22:01

Scans are tomorrow and Friday (it's the same scan done twice) and then hopefully results on Friday afternoon.

Have been thinking about you today and will continue to do so tomorrow x
And keeping every thing crossed for that tiny tiny chance of a miracle of course.

StealthOfficialCrispTester · 16/05/2013 21:08

Really struggling to give blood but have had an idea. I work on a university campus and from what I remember of being a student they used to come round to campuses. So I'm going to ask tomorrow if they do such a thing here, and assuming they do I'll get booked on and badger all my colleagues as well.

NorksAreMessy · 16/05/2013 21:56

YAY for succoria and mrsuccoria you lovely bleeders :)

NorksAreMessy · 16/05/2013 21:59

YAY for stealthy and her badgering tendencies.

Would you like some badgering badges to hand out? (I have a badge machine and I know how to use it :)
"I am a brilliant bleeder" for example. "stick a pin in me, I'm done", "pure blood". As you can tell, inspiration is low-ish :)

maxmissie · 16/05/2013 22:02

Thinking of you as always and will hope for good news. Sending love and strength to you all. xx
