Blood in DD's poo

DD is 3 and has a pretty poor diet. She eats no fruit or veg except for juice, soup sometimes and occasional raisins. She won't eat sauces so that's not an option. I sometimes puree a bit of cauliflower and smuggle it into mashed potato. She will eat brown bread though.

Today her poo was quite bloody, and so was her bottom. It was bright red blood and was on the surface of the stool. I'm thinking it's probably some sort of abrasion or chapped skin, though there was nothing obvious. She wasn't straining though she occasionally does. We cleaned her upmand used some Sudocrem.

Should I be concerned?

I would go to gp with her and get her checked out

Yes I would take her to be checked out

Quite bloody as opposed to a streak would bother me

It may be a fissure but that should still be checked

Right, I will.
