8 week ims today.
Thing is we have all got really sore throats and are coughing although baby isnt showing that he has this, i am terrified of him getting ill.

Just watching him, considering sleeping downstairs with the lamp on tonight so that i can see him.
He is asleep but keeps crying out..for no particular reason and has never done this before, its like he has pain. SadSadSad

Poor little chap, how was yours after their ims? looking for reassurance really.

None of mine have ever had a reaction to the immunisations - I think most babies are fine with them.

Is he a bit young for Calpol? If not, I'd give him a small dose to take the edge off.

Id give him some calpol. It's suitable from 2 months.

My ds was a bit grouchy after his injections but after a day was fine with some calpol. I wouldn't sleep downstairs with light on tonight, I'm sure he 's still in your room you'll hear him if he needs you.

I think you can give a small amount of Calpol for post-immunisation temperature, if there is one, though do check the bottle first to see what it says.

Not all babies have a reaction, DD didn't with any of hers. Or she might have been mildly grumpy the day after her 2nd lot. Is your DS in your room with you anyway at night? That will be fine. You can always give him some Calpol before bed (if that's ok) if you think he is suffering a bit.

I always find that when DD is poorly and I'm worried, I disturb her so much more by checking on her all the time, it ends up with me thinking that she's sleeping badly, upset etc - no, she's just not sleeping deeply because I'm turning the nightlight on every ten minutes!

Yes he is in the room with us at night.
I dont own a thermometer, he feels cool enough to be honest.
