Distraction for DD's booster jabs tomorrow

Dd 3.5 has her booster jabs tomorrow - she didn't bat an eyelid for all the previous ones but I know it's gonna be a different story tomorrow
I've told her she's going to see the nurse who's going to check to see if she's nice & healthy & growing tall and that she'll have to sit on my lap.
Anyone have any tips / distractions that I can try?
Silly thing is I've been through it before with Ds & never worried then!

I would most def tell her she is having an injection, I remember my mum taking me and saying it was for something different and getting the shock of my life when I got an injection.
My ds had his last year at same age and I told him the day before so he had time to ask about it etc.. I explained it would only hurt for one quick second a bit like a pinch and then afterwards he could go to the shop and pick something nice! He cried for less than a minute and then after was very proud that he was a big brave boy.

I have no experience of this, but I once read about a nurse who drew a cat on a child. Telling a story as she did. The cat needed an injection to stop it from getting poorly and hence the child had the injection too.

Don't know if it would work or not.

When Ds had his last flu jab I explained to him before that the nurse needed to give him a special medicine which she would put into his arm and that it might sting a little bit. I also made sure I had buttons for afterwards!

He was just under 3 then

I just asked ds if he remembered having his injections ... Thinking he'd say no
He said ' oh god yeah, it really hurt - don't make me do that again!'
I said 'it only stings for a second'
Him - no it really hurts
Not quite the desired effect I was hoping for!
Think I'll have to have the chat on the way to preschool when we're alone.
