Slapped cheek

DD and I went to visit a friend yesterday who forgot to tell us their youngest possibly had slapped cheek although gp been unable to confirm this. Obviously neither of us will show signs for a while if at all as we may not get it. But I know it can be harmful to people in early stages of pregnancy. I work in a nursery and dd is at school, and obviously neither of us can stay off in case but is it necessary to mention it to the school and my work or would I be viewed as mad!!!?
Would hate for a pregnant lady to get it and I hadnt mentioned it. But dont know if I would be viewed as mad!!!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm I'd probably mention it I think. Would rather be viewed as mad than have someone have something happen to their baby.

That is my view. I would rather say something and at least work know then. Even though we cant prevent it, at least my boss and dd's teacher would be aware.

Just wanted to see if others agreed with me or not. Thanks for your reply.
