puffy red/blue feet - wierd and scarry. Could it be serious?

My dd11.8 always has cold hands and feet. She gets cold easily when outside and has to really wrap up. She also is prone to chillblains on her feet. She is very slight (skinny). Not that active, not sporty, but not a complete couch potato. Also she is lactose intolerant (just thought I'd paint the complete picture here).

So the thing is, I've always known she has "bad circulation" but I saw her feet this evening and was really shocked. They were puffy, purple/red in colour and two toes were closer to blue/purple. When I pressed the puffiness my fingers marked white which then slowly returned to red/purple/blue. What the ???

Could this be something more serious? I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow. Any ideas?

Reynauds?
Any other health issues? Diabetes?
Is she is pain?
Poor lamb.

Thanks wolfiefan I looked up Reynauds but she doesn't get the white-with-cold thing, and of course there is this puffiness. No pain, no diabetes as far as I am aware. Only other health issue I am aware of is the lactose intolerance.

Crikey, I feel a bit of a fool. Took dd to Dr (and it's funny how they ask you firstly what you think might be the matter??) showed him her feet, he had a good look and checked her pulse in her ankles and declared that yes, her feet probably get cold in this weather and she should wear slippers around the house, but that the main problem looks like she wears her school shoes too tight where they do up over the top of her foot, restricting the veins pumping the blood back up her legs!!!

Well, at least it is not a weak heart which I was fearing. Thank you for your concern wolfiefan, I am touched. Panic over. Smile
