Low grade fever in toddler

My 2.5 year old always seems to have a low grade fever - it's not high and she generally seems well (37.6oC) is fairly typical and at night can be 37.8oC.

Dd2 does not eat that we'll and occasionally she wakes up shortly after dropping off and seems in pain (not sure if hungry or sore). This will generally be accompanied by passing wind. We generally need to give her some water, occasionally a biscuit and some Calpol - then she'll generally drop off again.

What is ringing in my ears is that our GP once said a low grade fever can sometimes mean an user lying UTi - do you think she should go to the GP? I feel a bit stupid tho as she generally seems well?

Have you kidnapped my dd? She suffers from trapped wind at night and her 'normal' temp is 37.5-37.8 - she had her urine checked a few week ago and it was fine - it wasn't because of the low grade fever though.

Personally I think it's just that they have a slightly higher baseline than other people but you could always call your GP for a chat.
