Awful wind at night

Hello :) My lo has suffered ever since birth with her digestion and wind. She was ebf until weaned and suffers from reflux (supposedly still at a year old). During the worst of it she was on Gaviscon, Colieg, Lacutlose, and Omeprazole. She is now off of all of these meds and has been for a while now. We occasionally give her Lactulose if she is constipated. I went off dairy and soya as well because there is a supposed milk allergy. Sorry, this could be long :(

We are under consultation with the dieticians and paeds and they don't really seem to be bothered or that concerned about it. We started to reintroduce dairy right before she turned 1. She can tolerate small amounts of dairy (say, in toast or mashed potatoes if the milk has been cooked). When trying to increase that, all hell broke loose, so to speak. She was up 12 times within 12 hours of having the larger amount of cooked dairy with really bad wind and pain that she can't relive herself. Fastforward a few days and she seemed to be getting better-sleeping more comfortably at night. So we tried the same product again. This time it took 48 hours but the same reaction. We have since then stopped introducing dairy except in the small amounts she can tolerate and have now been told to follow a low fibre diet since she is still waking every night 4-5 times crying out for her dummy and usually between 2-4 with horrible wind that she can't get out herself. This has been going on for 3 weeks now. We have only been on the 'low fibre diet' for a few days and it seems to have gotten worse. I have also taken dairy out of my diet again and am trying to go as low fibre as I can (difficult because I can't really eat much bread or pasta because I get upset tummy with it and I have to limit my fruit to such a small amount (you can only eat so much veg and we don't eat much meat :( ).

Has anyone else experienced this? Or have a 1 year old on a low fibre, dairy and soy free diet? I mean, heck, what can she really eat??? Thank you!!!

I can only offer sympathy, and wait here to see if someone has an answer :( I dont think the medical staff realise how much it affects your life, still having a 1yr old who wakes frequently through the night.
