it looked like her hands had been dipped in pva glue, we went to the pharmacist and he said prob excema and got some e45, cleared up fine, now the same is happening to the soles of her feet, it is very odd.

Phone docs back and complain. Who was it- a receptionist?
She could well have kawasakis (or it could be after scarlet we've, less serious)
I am a doctor. Did you speak to a doc?
Drives me mad when unqualified receptionists triage.

I have just got back from the walk in centre, doc said could be an allergic reaction to something, or a reaction to a viral rash, or her shoes rubbing, got the impression he thought I was a nutter when i mentioned kawasaki, told me to watch for any change.

It was the receptionist and I am quite angry that she wouldnt let me speak to a doctor.

Has she been unwell at all prior to this? Some strep infections can do this.

not unwell other than usual winter kid stuff, I guess it is one of those things that we will never get to the bottom of, (at least I am on file somewhere now as being a complete nutter) we thought the hands were maybe down to the snow, it just seemed really strange when the feet started peeling as well.

Try and see your normal gp this week. And complain about that receptionist, that is not on

It could have been scarlet fever. Kids are usually pretty unwell with Kawasaki but its not something to miss so needed checking out.
