Pale 6 year old DS

My DS1 is very pale, it seems all the time at the moment. To the point where a few friends have commented on it. He doesn't seem to get tired at school, but if we are out doing a lot of walking he will start to complain about tiredness (although he's never been a great walker). He's not the fastest at running, etc, but that doesn't bother me.

He is mildly asthmatic - we use the brown preventer at the moment each day to avoid winter coughs, but we rarely have to use the blue. He is allergic to a few things - raw egg, sesame, cats/dogs; we re-homed our cats last year due to this. He had terrible, terrible itchy eyes last spring which I believe was due to a rape seed field next to his school, which he had just started.

I know allergic children can be pale, with dark circles under the eyes. But I'm going to make a GP's appointment anyway. Other than anaemia, is there anything else I should be aware of before I go to GP? Anything I should be asking for (blood tests, etc)? Could it all be down to allergy and if so, what else can I do?

Thanks!

PS. I have always been particularly hot on using suncream, but he is significantly paler than 2 year old DS2 who has been subjected to the my same suncream obsession use.

DS (5) is very pale as well, enough to draw regular comments. He's had blood tests for other reasons, and all came back clear. He had an intolerance to melon which he's now outgrown.

Some kids are just pale :)
