Hi everyone,

Doctor has recommended we get a humidifier for DD's room as she has mild asthma and a persistent cough, which us affecting her sleep. I have no idea where to begin with choosing one.
Does anyone have any recommendations or ones to avoid?

Thanks.

We have this one, had it for about 5 years and no problems, you can have it on a high or low setting, both my boys, now 6 & 10 had breathing issues (mild asthma and virus induced wheeze) and this was brilliant at night. I also use it when they have snotty colds, and me and DH use it too when we have a cold. It does cause condensation on the windows so remember to wipe it off in the morning to stop any potential damp. In fact I used it in my eldests room as he has a chesty cough and he did not cough all night long! When filled to the top with water is lasts all night long, on both settings, although it will finish a little sooner on the higher setting.

They have now both grown out of their breathing issues now, which is great.
