Scratch mitts

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but does anyone have suggestions for keeping scratch mitts in place? My little boy is rather adept at removing them at night, rather defeating the object! Any tips? Xx

Never used them as I found like you that they don't stay on, the sleepsuits with them built in are much more effective

Yes I've got the sleepsuits with integrated mitts and the cheeky boy still manages to get a finger out, sigh, I think I'm just going to have try putting 3 pairs and the integrated ones on!

Scratch mitts are useless they don't stay put and they often don't give the baby's hand much room to flex. Most babygros have in built ones now that are much better. I use socks on my girls' hands too, they stay put and are less restrictive.

I found if the babygro was a size too big it was harder for ds to escape his hands! He did grow out of it, phew Smile

I bet it felt like forever before he did, I'll the try the size up trick! x

Long socks, preferably long enough that they go over the elbows. We found the best trick was long sleeved vest, then socks over the top, then babygro over that.

Socks......as murder says.....put the socks on then the babygro.

YY to socks. Grin
