Unusual sickness

My DD is 3. Last Thursday she woke up and had milk (like she has every morning) and then promptly threw it up. She was then sick 2 more times before 9 am and then for the rest of the day complained she was hungry. We treated her as if it was a sickness bug. Sips of water, dry toast and chicken soup later in the day as she was so hungry. She wasn't sick again. She had no temperate all day.

Day 2 she was sick again first thing but still wanted food. Her temperature was slightly raised but never went above 37.5. From then on no sickness for day 3 and day 4. She has been eating normally and we have been out doing regular things. No lethargy, sickness or anything.

This morning day 5 she had her milk and promptly threw up. She has since eaten a hand full of cereal.
What is going on with my DD? Hmm

my almost 3 year old DS5 sicked up his whole dinner a few days ago, wasn't ill, no signs of any problems, we were puzzled. All I could think was that he must have had a big burp and it brought up the food.

1st thing in the morning is harder to explain - I'm thinking she could have a cold and if the mucus is collecting in her tummy that might be the problem.
my DS3 had a bad ear infection when he was little, so bad both his eardrums burst and green gunk was flowing out of them, but he didn't have a runny nose, a cough or a temperature once, nothing that would suggest any problems!
DD also recently had a bad cough and runny nose, which turned into a chest infection - she had no fever either, so I only suspected she got something worse then a cold coz her ches t /breathing sounded odd.

sometimes kids have "lurgies" with odd symptoms, so take her to gp for a check up

I'd give her less milk on waking to avoid another incident or just give it to her a bit later than usual.

hope some of this makes sense

Thanks. We avoided milk this morning but she has had a pre breakfast snack to keep her going.
