Is cleaning with antibacterial wipe just as effective at removing the eggs or does it have to be hot water? Thx

I've just cleaned the whole house with 2 packs of antibacterial wipes, so that there was no transference on the cloth, surely, a cloth with hot water on it would cool by the time it hit the surface? I've rinsed out sinks and bath with hot water.

I'm wondering if all this is overkill and medicating, washing all bedding, doing the short nails, clean knickers, clean hands with nail brush and wiping affected areas in morn AND washing hands before any food should surely sort them out?

Yes, I think all the cleaning is overkill - though well done for all you've done!

Wiping and throwing wipes away works fine as damp dusting - I just read that the antibacterial part of it is pointless, as it doesn't kill worm eggs. So good as damp cloth, but not better.

Best thing you can do is re-dose in 2 weeks!
