Extremely clumsy child...normal?

Dd is 2.6 and so incredibly clumsy. She constantly falls over and bumps into things. She's either just clumsy, has problems with eyesight or coordination. Oh voiced concerns a while ago, claiming he thought she couldn't see the ball he was throwing to her. Should I take her to the gp or hv?

DS2 was just the same. He was always walking around with eggs on his head where he fell over. The HV said he should have an eyesight test so I took him to the optician, they said he was too young and referred him to the hospital. He went regularly for eye checkups for a couple of years, but his eyesight was fine.
At the same time, the HV also said to ask the GP for a check up. They checked out his walking and if he had flat feet etc. Turned out eventually that when he was walking he was putting one foot in front of the other and literally tripping himself up.
Definitely worth getting it checked out.

As for her eyes. You can be referred to an orthoptist by your HV or GP. An orthoptist is an eye specialist that works with children and would be able to pick up any eye problems.

Most opticians would be able to do a basic assessment on a 2.6 year old and make an onward referral if it was required.

could be one of several things. For balance you require information from sight, inner ear and proprioceptive (internal spacial awareness/receptors) systems. So could be any of those.
I would have an earnest conversation with your GP, and if it's not sight then maybe a referral to a paediatric physiotherapist may be necessary who can assess for other possibilities
