If your baby fed poorly/had reflux do you now have a fussy eater?

I am just noticing links between two of my children who were both difficult to feed as babies and wondered if this is a common phenomenon.
Both were slow to start BF- sleepy, poor latch, lost weight.
Both used to throw up and choke quite dramatically as babies. Being ignorant with no.1 I thought that was just what babies did but with the other who was my third I asked about reflux and was told it couldn't be as the throwing up was not straight after feeding.
Both ate a good range of foods as toddlers but got very fussy after about 3.
Still v.fussy now aged 13 and 5
Both skinny minnies.

DD2 on the other hand latched on brilliantly from the moment she was born, fed like a trouper, is chunky and enjoys a wide range of foods.

ds fed fairly well - fussy eater

dd had terrible reflux, vomited copiously, had to be fed when asleep etc - great eater.
