Possible tongue tie

I think my 3 yr old dd may have slight tongue tie. She has all her teeth but still dribbles and can't pronounce words like vinegar? Does this sound right?

Have a look. Get her to put her tongue up into the roof of her mouth and see if the little string of sinew underneath attaching her tongue to the bottom of her mouth looks like its too far forward, attaching nearer to the end of her tongue, rather than small and attached near the root of her tongue.

A tongue tie will be a larger 'string' of sinew, attaching closer to the tip of her tongue than normal. It can cause speech impediments like lisps and not being able to roll your 'r',s and can interfere with swallowing and sucking, which might be causing the dribbles.

Tbh "vinegar" is a tricky word for any 3yo to say!
