Ds keeps on getting these on his hands. Gp prescribed bazooka last time but they've come back a month later. Any suggestions?

I'm happy to try homeopathy. What were you prescribed?

DD has some on her finger, doctor says they will go and treatment not needed.

They have been there for weeks though.

Was wondering what i could put on them.

There's a product called Wartner, which I've used successfully before (on someone else's wart on their hand). But don't worry too much if they're not going away - they're not harmful. I did have a couple on the 'heel' of my right hand during most of my childhood, I was advised to lightly work at them with an emery board each evening and this did actually help to make them much smoother and less prominent, so I didn't feel at all self-conscious about them. Then they disappeared by themselves when I was in my late teens.

My daughter recently had a wart that was near the nail and it got infected so she needed antibiotics to clear the infection up. The doctor said that they don't freeze warts on children as it can be painful, so I asked if I could use tea tree oil on it once the infection had cleared up as I have used tea tree oil on some large verruca's (size of a 10p coin) my son had got, and the doctor said he had no problems with that. Anyway the verruca's cleared up in a couple of weeks, and the wart dried up and fell off, leaving the finger as good as new. I would give it a try, it will either work or not. It needs to be 100% tea tree oil which I get from Boots. Good luck.

I had warts on my hand and tried various aggressive treatments - apart from burning my 'normal' skin nothing worked. I then went to the Health Shop and bought a homeopathic roll on stick. I'm pretty sure it was called WartStick - very imaginative! It was brilliant. It smelt nice and was amazing - the warts disappeared in days. Highly recommended.

Thanks. I'll see if I can find them
