DS (4) is not well. DH has had him today and he hardly ate anything at lunch, slept all afternoon, didn't want tea, then was sick (but not overly DH says) now is complaining about a sore back, sore tummy and sore arm. I am inlcined to try and and make him comfortable and keep up his fluids, or any other suggestions?

That's interesting, we've got the same in this household. DD1 has a small temp with it, so I'm doing the same as you, plus a spot of calpol (if I can get it down her- that's another thread....). I think it might be that kind of lurgy which makes you feel sick and achy all over- not to worry unless they start complaining that their neck is stiff/ aversion to light/ rash which doesn't fade etc. (meningitis symptoms- hugely unlikely but worth remembering when LOs get ill).
Let's hope they are both feeling better soon.

small temp here treated with Nurofen, will keep an eye on the neck ache.

I would check for appendix.

Check for a rash too.
