DS scars easily - should this be a worry?

DS has two scars on his face from tiny scratches. They happened at different times, and were nothing serious at all - nothing to worry about. Certainly not something you'd expect to make a lasting mark. But months later he still has scars from them.

He also still has a few chicken pox scars.

Does anyone recognise this? Should I be worried about it?

He has rough skin on his arms - possibly relevant?

does the bumpy skin on his arms look like little pimples? he may be needing more fish oils in his diet?

if his skin is prone to scarring then maybe some bio oil when a mark is healing may help? i guess soem people have skin that is more prone to leaving a scar tho my boys have all had marks that have lasted for months and then eventually faded ,so they may still go away :)

It does a bit I guess. I'll try fish oil, I would like him to eat more fish anyway. We try, but not always successful.

He's vegetarian - well pescatarian (veggie with fish).

What's bio oil? We tend to use calendula, although I didn't for these.

bio oil is stuff that is recomended for stretch marks and scars, its often advertised on ment and some people swear by it. its always advertised in baby magazines etc. i ahvent used it i tend to use calendula type stuff on my children as well, but as i say it is meant to be good for scars etc :)

you can get chewable fish oils for children i think that taste nicer? i keep meaning to get some, tho i am quite lucky that my children will eat mackeral on toast etc, the tinned stuff adn i think that is quite good for getting the fish oils into them? fish is one of hte things that we try to eat more of but its bloody expensive!
