I have reached the end of my patience/tether/calm/capabilities

Ds has just pooed himself twice within the hour. Well once an hour after I found out about the firs incidentl.

Hes seven and the doc isnt sure whats causing it and has prescribed movicol in the past but it didnt seem to make any difference

We're going on holiday on saturday and won't have access to a washing machine. I dont think I can face it.

Strangely I was just about to start a similar thread (although I had to google encopresis!) about dd2, she is 5 and I often find poo in her knickers, and she doesn't know she has done it, and it is not just a smear, usually a whole poo. She is also terrified of telling anyone about it, so sometimes, by the time I find it it is hard and her bottom is very sore. This morning she had a poo in her pyjamas, and she said she found it there this morning, but she didn't feel it coming out of her bottom.

I have an appointment to talk to the dr about it next week, but I wondered if it could be to do with a muscle problem?

Has your ds had any issues with wee? How was he with potty training?

Dd2 has always been very difficult about going to the toilet (for wees), and had accidents very frequently, and never goes in time. She has recently improved with this, but now the poo problem is much worse.
