White Eye in Photo

Am freaking out slightly!
Have seen quite a lot of photos of Ds 9 mo with white eyes in a number of photos.
Probably just the camera, right? On DH's iphone and dm's htc.

DS had his nine monthe check last week, the dr shone that bright 'doctor torch' (tech term) into his eyes, would that have picked up anything worrying?

Or will I go to GP (who is both rather dismissive and expensive - not in UK) But obv I will if it needs further investigation! Trying to stay calm and away from google.

Would the optician be any cheaper/better as a first option Pardy?

You could tell them what you've seen and they could have a look. They are probably better placed to do this than your GP.

My DS had this in lots of photos. Took him to doctor, who said that he is eyes were a bit skew wife (not actual diagnosis!) and they would even out. He is 3 now and i have not had any more white patches in photos. I'm sure DS will be fine x

Thanks all

well I came back from the opticians - thanks for that suggestion again, Bobbly and he's fine.

Apparently a lot of the new smartphones have LED flash on them which is more likely to produce the effect. Am so glad my mind is at rest now.
