DS (nearly 3yo) went down with CP last Wednesday morning, initially with just a few dozen spots mostly in the nappy area. A load more appeared on Friday morning.
My sisters and I had planned a lovely week's holiday by the sea side from Saturday to Saturday with our three offspring (my sisters each have a daughter 20m and 10m respectively). So obviously they have gone off on hols and I am stuck with DS till he is no longer infectious. My sisters DO NOT want CP yet, though acknowledging that it has to come some time now is not a good time.
99% of DS's spots are scabbed over this evening, there are 2 on his bum, one on his ankle and 3 on his scalp hidden among the hair that are still pussy.
WIBU to make plans to join my sisters and nieces tomorrow afternoon on the grounds that these last 6 spots are likely to have gone by then, or should I not make plans to go until they are actually gone? It will be 24 hours between deciding I can go and acutally being able to get there so I want to try to time getting there for as soon as he stops being contagious, rather than a day later than that, if possible.
