DS with severe nut allergy. Can we eat at Frankie and Benny's with reasonable confidence? Any experience?

Hi, I'm trying to organise a little treat for my son who has turned 13 this week. He and his sis have free meal tickets for F and Bs so we would like to use them if poss. Has anyone eaten there with a severe nut allergy?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Not with nut but milk and egg and they were really good. I think it depends which one you go to though. Try re posting in allergies

DS has allergies to egg, milk and nuts and he was fine eating at frankie and benny's. The good thing about chain restaurants in terms of allergies is that they normally have a list of the ingredients and are more aware of allergies than an independent restaurant.

The thing with nut allergies is that everyone assumes they are the worst allergies, everyone is aware of them and how severe they can be. Waiters/chefs etc are a bit more blasé about a milk allergy for example as they mistakenly think it can't be as severe as a nut allergy.
