Our DS is off the chart for weight, so just wondering how much we should be feeding him? I try to avoid giving him unhealthy foods, it's just he's always hungry! Anyone know how many calories we hold be aiming for?

Not sure about calories but if it's any help Ds is 2 and in a typical day he has

Breakfast - Bowl of weetabix minis

Morning snack -1 pear and handful of grapes

Lunch - ham or cheese butty with a handful of cherry tomatoes

Afternoon snack - apple and banana or block of cheese

Tea - lasagne type dish then a yoghurt

sirzy - I am very jealous you can get your son to eat all of that! I fail totally with fruit, sandwiches and fairly often main meals!

I realise I how lucky I am that he is such a good eater. (shame he isn't an equally good sleeper!)

He is one who would happily eat all day if I let him which is why I encourage the fruit!

He may be off the charts for weight, but what about height? If he's also off the charts for height, he's probably in proportion, iyswim?

My nearly 3 year old would probably add in a slice of toast and a (Homemade) biscuit to Sirzy's menu.

About 1800 I think- more than you'd expect. Don't worry about weight, they lose when more active
