DD, aged 5, constantly gets thrush. It's not like the thrush you get when you're older, but a bright red oval going around her bits & anus. We have been to the doctor a few times about it, where we are told it's thrush and given more Timodine. It goes away after being treated once or twice, but then after a few weeks she cries when weeing, I check & it's back. I treat it, it goes away and then after a few weeks ... need I go on? Obviously it's treated quickly and easily, but should she be getting it so often? How can I prevent it from happening? I have now decided to write down every time she gets it so I can accurately tell the dr how often it happens, but don't know if it's worth even doing that if they just say the same thing again. Advice please.
