High calorie foods to fatten up a 3 year old.

Ds2 is 3 years old and is really small and thin. He hardly eats anything, just pecks at food like a bird.
I have given up trying to feed him family meals and have decided to try giving him lots of small snack type meals throughout the day to try to get some meat on him.
Does anyone have any ideas for foods I could try?
Obviously, they have to be healthy, but as he eats so little, it must be calorie dense. I can only think of fruit and yoghurts (all seem to be low fat now).

Maranello a zombie thread is a thread which hasn't been posted on for years and has been 'reanimated' by a recent comment.

I'd suggest you start your own thread if you want people to comment on your specific circumstances - many people (me included) tend to read the OP then skim the replies so I was replying to someone who posted 4 years ago and no doubt isn't dealing with the problem any more!

Best of luck.

I'm not quite sure why you are worrying about your son if he's on the 25th percentile. Two of my kids are on the 0.4th percentile - so right at the bottom. They are healthy, bright, coordinated kids who will eat anything and stop when full. They will go into adulthood with a balanced wholesome open approach to food. I'd be extremely surprised if they ended up obese or with type two diabetes! I've never been obsessed with my kids consuming high calories foods or eating everything on plates. Potentially such an approach could start food issues.
