Please help - 11wo coughing and vomiting a lot - what should I do?

My DD is 11wo and for the past couple of days has been fussier than usual, not feeding as well as usual (she's ebf) and she's been snuffly. Today she's been upset and crying a fair bit and over the last hour has been very sick four times. She soaked through DH's t-shirt twice (he's given up wearing one for now!), then she was sick all over herself. She then got very upset out of hunger and had the best feed she's had in a couple of days, much less fussing. She seemed happy, did a regular sized burp and then about five minutes later threw up all over me. Like, a lot. She's never been a sicky baby at all. I know babies are sick often but this isn't like her at all. I don't want her to get dehydrated and I know she needs to feed but it seems like she can't keep it down. What should I do?

Aww man! We've had a couple of days of fussy feeding but feeding nonetheless and now today she's thrown massively after three feeds again. I can't believe she's caught a vomiting bug twice in a week. A&E do you think or would that be over reacting?

Think it would be best just to take her hon she's so young and they can dehydrate so quickly x

Forgot to say I hope she recovers soon and u of course there's some nasty bugs going around x let us know what happens x

Because she is so little and has already been through so much I would take her to A&E now so she can be admitted for observation. If you go to your GP tomorrow there is a chance you'll be sent home again. Just a bit too risky IMO.
Hope you and your DH feel a bit better, then I would pack a bag for her and you, include some toys/books/clothes/snacks/mobile phone charger etc and then set off to A&E. Hopefully it won't be too busy at this time.

How is it going?

She's been remarkably well all day! She slept through last night on an empty stomach, fed like a trouper this morning and fed normally all day. We didn't end up at A&E because she fell asleep so quickly and so well straight after. I made an appt at gp though just to get them to look at her.

Hope she is well now and gaining weight. Good luck.
