No other symptoms.

His last solid pop was Monday morning. Since then theyve all been quite wet - about one a day just brown water and the rest wet and slimy. He's also doing up to 6 a day from one or two.

He is still bf, is feeding well and blw eating solids as normal. He's maybe drinking slightly more water than normal, but is not dehydrated or grumpier than normal. Also no temperature.

Should I be taking him to the doctor? Have cut out prunes and am trying to offer water more often.

Might be teething. Mine did numerous poos a day when a tooth was coming and it was watery and a bit like green slime!

Thanks. Can't see any teeth at the moment. He has four already.

He brought up a couple of mouthfuls tonight so I think I'll just keep an eye on him.

TBH I would get him to the doctor and take a nappy with and ask them to take a sample. It will take a week for the stool test results to come back. It's probably a virus, but If he deteriorates in between then take him to A&E. babies can deteriorate quite fast. DS had this last year, and pulled through fine, though I was worried sick, it lasted 3 weeks, he lost weight and would barely eat. Though he would drink plenty of formula. The paediatrician at A&E said not to worry as long as he was drinking (i.e. not eating is not a problem for a few days or so), but to bring him back any time if I was worried.

Thanks Bonzo. I'll maybe try to get an appointment tomorrow as I'm not sure I want to be worrying about it all weekend.

Went to the doctor today. She says his tummy feels fine, he's clearly not dehydrated and she took a sample (DS thoughtfully pooed in the car on the 90second journey there). She reckons it's probably rotovirus. She also said to cut out dairy for a few days as it can exacerbate the situation.

Apologies for all the incorrect spelling - on re-reading I notice a number of mistakes.
