Is there something that can be bought/prescribed to get rid of ear wax in a toddler?

whenever DD has her ears checked, the drs comment on the fact that she has lots of ear wax so they cant see anything much. they never give a solution though! She has poor speech and although her hearing test came back fine ,I wonder if it might help to have clear ears.
IS there something I can buy or ask to be prescribed?

Otex ear drops help to dissolve wax. It may depend how much is in there though. Maybe try the practice nurse too for some advice.

we've had otex prescribed before but now they all have grommits we put a drop of olive oil in each day to keep wax soft and it seems to come out easily so might be a good preventative thing to do once you get rid of wax

thanks - practice nurse is a good idea. I think I've used Otex before.
