Chiropractor vs Osteopath for baby

My 11 week old DS has been looking left since he was born. His whole head naturally turns this way and after pointing it out to HV, GP and midwives they dont seem too concerned but just say we should keep encouraging him to turn his head to the right (which we are doing).

He does turn his head to the right on his own and look around happily and it doesnt appear to cause him any discomfort. He has a bit of a flat spot which has developed due to him looking this way a lot (GP has checked him and said its not too bad).

Anyway, my point is I have heard a lot of good things about cranial osteopaths for helping correct small issues like this but we dont have any near where we live. We do have a very highly recommended Chiropractor who specialises in babies and so I've made an appointment to see him in a weeks time.

What I'm wanting to know is if anyone can tell me if it is worth me finding an osteopath (at least an hour drive away), or if the chiropractor will do basically the same thing?

I am sure I will get loads of disapproval but my personal opinion is that cranial osteopathy is a con. If you are worried about flat head syndrome try one of the specialised clinics that deal with it. My friend's baby had amazing results and I am sure that they would be able to give advice on the looking to the right problem.

I see a chiropractor regularly for a bad back/neck and I have to say I find the treatment absolutely brilliant. I have never had cause to take DS but my Chiropractor surgery does run a baby/child clinic and it is always very popular.

I should have added that DS had shoulder dystocia and forceps during the birth so these are also factors in choosing to have him seen by someone.

Bumping to see if anyone else has any suggestions. Thanks!
