Can anyone tell me about this? I am worried about my 6 year old son who has never been a great one for digesting food - lots of runny poo episodes, grippy tummy pains, pale poos, always hungry but only takes two mouthfuls for him to be full. He has had three poo accidents in pants in the past month. And he's really much smaller than my other two ds with fine motor skills not as good as they should be. He's also quite "young" for 6. No learning issues - good at maths and has recently just really clicked with reading and spelling. Great memory for facts but is a bit spacy with day to day stuff. I've taken him to docs and managed to get a referral to paediatrician specialising in gastroenterology (we're in North Essex if anyone has a view on good paeds) - would really appreciate advice on what to record to pass on to the doc. GP suggesting a poo log Xmas Grin bit other suggestions very welcome.

My ds was diagnosed with coeliac disease at 15 months old, once you get used to the diet it is relatively easy to live with. They normally do a stool elastase test at the same time as the blood test for CD to check for other disorders that cause loose stools.
