My daughter has always been been petite but lately although I've not actually weighed her regularly I think she has lost some weight (She's 3.5 and is 11kgs). Has anyone had anything like this? I've got a doctors appt for her next week but I'm just a bit worried and wondered if anyone had been down this road and had any suggestions for me to throw at the doc at the appointment?? There are other things as well. She's become a bit moody, always tired, sore feet (although I know her shoes fit!) sore eyes, not eating as much and just so pale and dark under her eyes. Diabetes has been ruled out but this just isn't normal for my little girl. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

I have a 6 yr old who has selective eating disorder but tbh, your dd sounds like there is something making her lose weight (not saying it to worry you).
If she is more pale than usual, has physical symptoms (eyes/feet), then I would ask the GP what that could mean and get her bloods checked.

The feet thing could just be growing pains I guess but if you are worried I'd defo get her checked out.

In the mean time, try discretly filling her up with nutritious but calorie laden foods - cereal is good and they often fancy cereal when they don't feel like much else, rice, pasta, granary cheese on toast with butter etc.

That said, if she's petite anyway, she'll tend to weigh less than others. My ds is 6 and weighs a tad over 3 stone. He's tall and when without clothes, looks quite skinny but his nails and hair grow fast (always a good sign they're getting vits) and he has lots fo energy. If your dd seems listless/pale etc, then it's important to rule out more serious illnesses.
