Catarrh/blocked nose at night

DS is 14 weeks and has had a cold off and on for the last 6 weeks. 3 weeks ago he started getting a blocked nose/catarrh at night which wakes him constantly. I took him to the drs who just said it'll go - it hasn't and is now effecting his feeding and sleep :(

If I get another drs appointment is there anything they can prescribe him? I'm thinking decongestant spray or something. He's getting worse and is currently waking hourly which isn't good for either of us. So far I have tried:

Carvol plug in
Calpol plug in
Oblas oil
Eucalyptus oil
Saline solution
Baby Vicks (equivalent brand)
Humidifier
Wet towel on radiator
Bowl of water on radiator
Steamy bathroom
Raising head part of bed
Various combinations of window/doors
Different rooms

If there is anything left to try at home I will, but can't help feeling he needs some kind of medical help now

the only decongestant that you could probably give a baby of that age is saline nasal spray and you can buy that in the supermarket/chemist

I went to my GP with the same problem & he suggested laying ds on his front. I didn't like the idea because of the dangers associated with front sleeping but I tried it & he slept a little better. Still not great, but at least he wasn't waking gagging on the catarrh.

Nasal spray helped my, my baby always had a blocked nose struggled to feed i tried all the above too, ended up using spay and vicks on the bottom of his feet, seemed to work best for me, no magic answer though i think it just got better the older he became and his passages grew

We've tried: normal vicks on his feet then a pair of socks, saline nasal spray bought over the counter was great for getting our DS to feed while all blocked up, and helped at bedtime too.
Good luck, lack of sleep sucks!!!!
