Keep putting pressure on GP to get quicker appointment. Phone the secretary of whichever consultant you will be seeing.

I'd chase it up big time. Does the GP know about the blood?

i've been on the net searching as my 6 yr old son has breath that smells strongly of urine. my sister 39 has kidney failure. blood in urine and protein are a sign. but my sister says a blood test needs to be done to check especially creatine levels and a kidney scan, not just a urine sample check asnt been done? i took my son in and they have given me a blood test form first and foremost for kidney function. i am shocked. my sister had red light symptoms that was completely missed by her dr. dont be apologetic. your childs health is second to none. be vocal and look kidney disease up. it may not be but id rather be safe than sorry
