My 13 mo ds had a tendency to empty his bowels around 4am when he was a tiny baby. Two weeks ago he got the vomiting bug, and he's been having terrible dirty nappies ever since - between 2am and 4am. He's so distraught and exhausted, that he then won't go back to sleep unless he's fed a full bottle of milk. Both DH and I work and we are shattered from his midnight adventures. I've ordered some acidophilus, is there anything else I can do? Anyone had a similar experience with a solution they'd like to share? Thanks so much in advance...

Oh and he eats a LOT and our nanny is Indian, so the food is loaded... but I have simplified his meals for about a week and cut out irritants like citrus fruit Blush

Are the poos otherwise normal consistency wise? I'd give him another week and then see a gp maybe. They may want to do a stool sample.

I'd try some probiotic yogurts too.

We found that raisins were a real problem with DD. We cut them out and then reintroduced when she was 4 and the seem to be fine now.

protexin restore probiotics (powder).... I would give this for at least two weeks after a stomach bug.
