Boys and their hormones

DS1 has kicked off for no apparent reason and also shouted at and threatened me. It appears he has had enough of his sister. This happens every once in a while and I am wondering if he is getting hormonal stuff going on. He says sometimes he feels out of control. He is 10. Anything I can do to help him?

Can't give any advice on the hormone/temprement front.
My DS is 12 yo and luckily his temprement is fairly even, he can get arsey with his sister but that's nothing new Hmm

Is your DS getting body hair, skin or hair changes?

DS came home from school one day absoloutly rank, I could smell BO on him (from across the room) which was very unusual. He washes daily and uses antiperspirant but even after walking to and from school, (30 mins each way) , PE and karate all in one day, he doesn't smell.
I had to wash his blazer it was that bad. I thought, WTF, is this it then.

He was as sick as a dog that night and he's not been smelly since.

Nothing yet in terms of body hair or skin and hair changes. I did think the other week he had a spot or two but not at the moment. He does say he can't control his feelings so I really want to be able to help him with that as I need help with PMT so understand. He can't be allowed to threaten me though.

i think it's a difficult age - they get really stressed about the next stage of secondary school (unless he's in a middle school)and what's going to happen. in fact, prepare yourself for a bit of a roller-coaster. And the least little thing can set them off. But they need to learn how to cope - a stress ball, exercise, digging a garden for pay , is all a good way of getting rid of it.

My ds is 10 and has some body hair and a temperament of a mad dog at times. He also says he feels he is out of control but usually calms down and apologises for it afterwards. His brother aged 9 laughs and can't believe it but I guess he will be the same in a couple of years.

He showers frequently, takes an interest in his clothes and has started to move on from kids tv to more adult/teenage stuff.
