Blue lips, freezing hands and feet

When DD(3) goes out in the cold no matter how wrapped up she is gets very cold. When we get in doors she has a pale face bluish lips feeding hands and feet. I have to bundle her up in blankets with a warm drink heating on and yet it still takes up to 30-45 mins before she starts to feel like she's warming up. It happened this morning.
She is diagnosed hypermobile although it doesn't cause her pain as of yet. I have read there could be a connection with Hypermoblilty being a connective tissue disorder but wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

My Ds2 (3) is also hyper mobile and he suffers with the cold although not to the degree of your dd. Have you asked for a rheumatology referral? There is something called EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), of which hyper mobility is a type and there is another type which has cardiac involvement. I'm by no means an expert but it may be worth asking to see a rheumatologist to rule this out. Hopefully somebody else with more expertise will be along soon!

Thankyou. I think I've heard of EDS. Will have to have a look at it.

If you pop over to the Special Needs board there is a thread on there for EDS hyper mobility, this is where the more knowledgeable gather...I'm still learning :)
