DD was born with positional talipes in both feet, which apparently happens from being squashed up in the womb. Not the 'club foot' kind where the foot turns inwards, the other kind where the foot turns outwards (talipes calcaneovalgus, I've been Googling). She was seen as a newborn by the physio who gave some stretching exercises and said it should self-correct.
She's now 4 months, her right foot looks totally normal but her left foot still looks a little bit twisted outwards. I asked the GP at the 8 week check and he said it was 'varus' but should self-correct. I'm just wondering how long it will take before it's totally normal. I don't want to bother the GP again if it's usual to take many months before it totally corrects. But I'm concerned that if it stays like it currently is, it might affect her walking and we could find out that she should have been treated earlier.
Any advice?
