Me and DD are moving back to England in August. I have honestly never heard anything about this in any of the countries we have lived. I do see it time and time again on MN.
What is it, how do you catch it and can you avoid it?

Hi all, I have a 5 year old who has had it for approx 8 months and had a small wart type thing on her back for ages which grew slowly for a few months before others began to appear. The large one is on her back and the others mainly under arms but odd ones elsewhere. I have been to docs twice and told to leave alone and take no precautions at all as it will run its course and is not serious. My neice has also got it age 5 who also suffers with eczema which I feel responsible for and now my other 4 yr old has come out in it and had I been told to not share towels, baths, etc maybe I could have prevented it. I have looked into alternative treatments and am not sure which line to go down-homeopathic, natural/holistic, chinese. I have seen the kits available at 100% natural.com for £42 with a silver spray and immune boosting supplements and have also spoken to a homeopath who said she would treat them constitutionally and it would be £40 each for first app. HELP!! I don't mind paying anything to rid this horrid virus even though I know it is not a benine serious thing but the poor tykes, it must be awful and I don't want them singled out at all. I have read about some using the silver spray with not much success, as with the homeopath Thuja lotion. What should I do. Also how do we know what if any long term damage any of these treatments may cause as we don't have any solid evidence of the studies undertaken and effect of the ingredients. Does that make sense? So much to way up. Parenting/doctoring? HELP PLEASE Cheryl

Hi - Just wanted to say that I used kits from 100% natural for my daughter's molluscum. She had masses of spots on neck, arms, legs and back. They all disappeared within 4 months of starting treatment. We spent a lot of money but I can't praise the treatment enough and would absoloutely recommend giving 100% natural a ring and talking to them as they are so helpful. It was a year ago when we went through this and none of the spots have returned and the eczema that my daughter had had since birth has completely disappeared too! Hope this helps.
